WP32 McCake

WP32 McCake is a  waveblaster compatible soundcard that can play SF2 soundfonts and emulate MT32 
It uses a Compute Module 4 (CM4 Lite) to run MT32-PI software.
McCake is compatible with MT32-Pi config files :  See more information about configuration here :

Kit Options :

• Choose DIY option to receive only the basic PCB.
  • You will need to add your own OLED display, CM4 Lite Module, Micro SD Card ... 
    • Please note : Only Lite (= without eMMC storage) editions of CM4 module can be used with McCake :
      • CM4001000, CM4101000 (1GB RAM)
      • CM4002000, CM4102000 (2GB RAM)
      • CM4004000, CM4104000  (4GB RAM)
      • CM4008000, CM4108000  (8GB RAM)
    • CM4 modules with embedded eMMC flash, do not boot from Micro SD card, so they are not compatible.
  • This option is suitable for tinkerers, project builders, etc...

  • Recommended option : You receive a complete, fully tested setup, ready to run.
  • Includes local OLED display, CM4 Lite module (1GB RAM), Micro SD card
  • Micro SD card preloaded with MT32PI, General User soundfont playback, ready to run. 
  • For MT32 playback, you need to supply your own ROM files, place them in \roms directory

3.5" panel option :

• fits in 3.5" floppy drive bay
• Computer Beige or Black color choices
• 1 piece ready to run, fully assembled with PCB and OLED mounted
• 60 cm cable for connecting to McCake

5.25" multicolour panel option :

• fits in 5.25" CD-ROM drive bay
• Computer Beige + Black or Black + Red color combo choices
• Includes 4 screws to easily assemble the left and right side of the panel
• PCB and OLED pre-mounted and tested
• 60 cm cable for connecting to McCake

Optional power cable :

• allows to power McCake from a HDD molex power connection
• 20 cm length splitter cable
• dual floppy connector power output
